Our Community

We are dedicated to providing a place for today's seniors to live, play and grow in an atmosphere of Christian love and care.

We believe that the Christian faith teaches us that all persons should have the opportunity to live their lives with dignity and independence.

In that belief, we are committed to providing quality services in an atmosphere of caring, sharing, encouragement and Christian love.

Dog & Cat Food Drive

The Village Outreach Committee has a food pantry & coat closet to help those in need in our community. If you or anyone you know is in need of food, contact Bryan (618) 943-3444. If you or anyone you know is in need of coats or blankets, please contact Eunice (618) 943-3347. We hold fundraisers throughout the year to  be able to fund these causes and will be able to help out those in our community.

For the month of February, we have decided to help out someone else in our community. We are collecting dog & cat food along with some other items to benefit the Lawrence County Humane Society. They are a non-profit, no-kill shelter that depends solely on donations. All work and administration is ran by volunteers.

The Lawrence County Humane Society currently has 106 dogs available for adoption & 52 cats for adoption. It takes 100 lbs of dog food each day just to feed the dogs. If you would like to help out, we have listed needed items below. Just drop them by the Village and ask for Jamie. If you have any questions, please contact Jamie (618) 943-3347 or marketing@umvillage.com.

If you or someone you know would like to adopt a cat or dog, please call (618) 943-4439 or (618) 943-5368.
