How Can I Help?
There are many ways you can help the United Methodist Village!
Join our UMV family by becoming a volunteer! Our volunteers use their time and talents to enhance the quality of life of our UMV Residents. Volunteers can work with different staff, departments, and Residents. Often our volunteers assist us with special events and projects as well! You can volunteer individually, with a friend, or as a group! For more information on volunteering, go to our: Volunteer Page.
The United Methodist Village Auxiliary is a service oriented and fund-securing organization composed of individuals throughout Southern Illinois who wish to express their love and concern for older persons. If you would like more information on the Auxiliary, or to find out how to become an Auxiliary member, go to our: Auxiliary Page.
Nearly daily the media reminds us that providing quality health care for our society, is possibly the most urgent problem our nation faces. The United Methodist Village, established in 1908, has been meeting these standards for years. Part of our mission is to accept and provide quality care for all residents regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or ability to pay. For years we have been able to accomplish this, providing benevolent care to those in need. Contributing to UMV will help ensure our ability to offer benevolent care for future generations.
